Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's programs "Squawk On The Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). Although she's from Ohio and was not particularly interested in markets and currencies during college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. This was where she gained the first experience of business news. She later earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The internship was for four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and began her work in New York at Bloomberg. She became a television anchor eventually. CNBC employed her in December 2013 to be a reporter. She was co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange and Power Lunch', before landing the position on 'Closing Bell' in the year. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street' since the year 2014. One of the most renowned journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus is global consumer news since she joined CNBC.
