Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actor and a singer. The parents of Kristen Bell were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented entertainer at an early stage. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent before she was 13, and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. In addition to learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career at that time. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her the completion of her studies. Bell left her studies in 2001, and took on the part of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. The is the year she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell was featured in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
