Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She is Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda lived in San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out from four children. When she was in her tenth grade she became fascinated by acting, when she performed in school plays. Her next stage was performing in school and community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. She had to choose from New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV when she finished her studies. The choice was LA. Linda appeared in Bone Chillers (1996), her debut part. Her first big break was when she got her first role as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on 5 April 1989. She began her career as a British actress on Just William (2010), an British series on British television. Cinderella was her breakthrough performance following her appearance as the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James then played the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016, and was in several movies. These include the action film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) as well as Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical television series based on the story of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022), earned her nominations for a Golden Globe Award winner and a Primetime Emmy Award.
