Awkwafina

Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks which dealt with the subject of sexuality and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood following the release of an album of raps. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. In the following years, she took up traditional and hip-hop training. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. After graduation, she begin to concentrate on music. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet and was later released on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also included other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC BitcheUSD. The final track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. Apart from having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional as a performer. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors to Storks. Her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
